Egg Drop Challenge

On of the projects we will work on is the Egg Drop Challenge.

At the end of the Egg Drop Challenge students will:

-Know the design cycle and relate them to an egg drop project

-Critically analyze packaging materials and choose appropriate materials to complete their tasks

-Solve problems related to energy, surface area, and volume

-Understand the design process

-Build a successful competitive egg drop container

Aerodynamics is the way objects move through air. The rules of aerodynamics explain how an airplane is able to fly. Anything that moves through air is affected by aerodynamics, from a rocket blasting off, to a kite flying. Since they are surrounded by air, even cars are affected by aerodynamics.
